INTRODUCTION
This advanced SOLIDWORKS Electrical course is intended for electrical engineers and designers seeking to enhance their proficiency beyond the standard training modules. The course focuses on advanced schematic design methodologies, electrical harness development, PLC integration, design validation, and project documentation. Participants will gain practical knowledge of industry-standard workflows to improve design accuracy, efficiency, and maintainability in complex electrical engineering projects.
OBJECTIVE
At the end of this program participants are expected to:
• Develop and manage advanced electrical schematics, harness designs and optimized wiring architectures
using SOLIDWORKS Electrical.
• Create and configure custom symbols, PLC systems, I/O structures, multi-deck terminals and black box components
for complex electrical projects.
• Generate, customize and manage engineering reports and project documentation in accordance with design
requirements and industry practices.
PREREQUISITES
• Experience with the Windows™ Operating System
