Introduction
The goal of this course is to teach you how to use SOLIDWORKS Electrical to optimize your drawings and designs for manufacturability so you can maximize quality, avoid rework and decrease time to market. This course is focused on 2D Schematic Design.
Objective
At the end of this program participants are expected to:
Start using SOLIDWORKS Electrical and create projects.
Understand drawing types and create schematic drawings with line diagrams and symbols.
Insert and configure Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) into SOLIDWORKS Electrical.
Create reports consisting of Bill of Materials, List or Wires and List of Cables.
Prerequisites:
Experience with the Windows™ Operating System.
Methodology
Practical hands-on with using computers, lecturing, discussions and case studies
